Questions and Answers About The Well Genie Program
How can I see if my medication is covered?
If you take a generic medication, it’s most likely covered. We carry in our formulary 93% of the most prescribed generic medications being prescribed today. You can look up your medication using our look up tool on the Well Genie Website.
What happens if I need a medication now and can’t wait for it to be mailed?
These are called Immediate need or acute medications. Have your provider send a prescription for the medication to your local pharmacy and when you go to pick it up, present your Membership card. If the medication and dosage is included in the program it will be provided at no charge to you. Note: 21-day supply is covered with your membership for acute medications.
If you are out of a chronic medication that is included, contact the home delivery pharmacy for options to expedite shipping.
How do I transfer my existing prescriptions from my local pharmacy to Well Genie?
The refills you most likely have at your current pharmacy are for a 30-day supply. Please have your doctor send new, 90-day prescription(s) electronically to our pharmacy partner. The pharmacy information is on your membership card.
How do I refill a prescription through home delivery?
To receive a text to refill your prescription you can either call the pharmacy toll-free number or when you receive notice of your first subscription delivery via text, you can opt-in for refill texting.
How do I order over the counter medications from Well Genie?
Your Well Genie membership does NOT include over-the-counter medications.
How do I find out if there is an alternative generic medication I can take to replace the brand name one I currently use?
Talk to your doctor to find out if there is an alternative generic medication available.
Does this membership affect my existing healthcare benefits?
No. Well Genie is NOT insurance. This membership works outside of any existing healthcare benefits you may have. You would still use your existing pharmaceutical benefits for brand medications when applicable and for generic medications not listed on our formulary.
When does my membership start?
Your membership starts when you receive your welcome email with your digital membership card.

What is a Personal Health Assistant?
Our Personal Health Assistants (PHAs) are dedicated experts assigned specifically to employees and their families—not anonymous representatives in a call center. Each PHA is a certified health coach with at least three years of clinical experience and specialized training in employee benefits, empathy, and motivational interviewing.

How to reset my Username or Password for Wellness Tools?
Sign into your Well Genie member portal then click on Wellness Tools. Login with your Single Sign On (SSO) and then select to either “CHECK ELIGIBILTY” or “FORGOT PASSWORD”.
Can you resend my welcome email?
Check your spam/junk email folder for email from no-reply@well-genie.com. If it isn’t there, reach out to support@well-genie.com and request they send your welcome email again. Be sure to include your first and last name, along with the first and last name of the primary member. After your information has been verified, they will resend your welcome email.
Can you resend my member ID card?
You can find your digital membership card in the Member Portal. Instructions for registering on the Member Portal were provided in your welcome email. If you haven’t received that email or need it resent, please reach out to support@well-genie.com. Be sure to include your first and last name, along with the first and last name of the primary member. After your information has been verified, they will resend your welcome email.
