Questions and Answers About The Well Genie Program

If you take a generic medication, it’s most likely covered. We carry in our formulary 93% of the most prescribed generic medications being prescribed today. You can look up your medication using our look up tool on the Well Genie Website.

These are called Immediate need or acute medications. Have your provider send a prescription for the medication to your local pharmacy and when you go to pick it up, present your Membership card. If the medication and dosage is included in the program it will be provided at no charge to you. Note: 21-day supply is covered with your membership for acute medications.

If you are out of a chronic medication that is included, contact the home delivery pharmacy for options to expedite shipping.

The refills you most likely have at your current pharmacy are for a 30-day supply. Please have your doctor send new, 90-day prescription(s) electronically to our pharmacy partner. The pharmacy information is on your membership card.

If your prescription has refills available, you can select “Refills” on the home delivery pharmacy’s mobile app to request a refill of your prescription.

Your Well Genie membership does NOT include over-the-counter medications.

You can look up your medication using our look up tool on the Well Genie Website.

No. Well Genie is NOT insurance. This membership works outside of any existing healthcare benefits you may have. You would still use your existing pharmaceutical benefits for brand medications when applicable and for generic medications not listed on our formulary.

Commercial Clients – Once you receive your welcome email with your digital membership card.

Consumer Clients – Once you sign up and pay your first month’s fee, you will receive your Welcome email and digital membership cards. Pharmacy plans will become active 48 hours after that.

Our personal Patient Advocates are highly trained administrative experts. When you call for assistance you will be assigned a dedicated Patient Advocate who will take responsibility for helping you. Within 48 – 72 hours we’ll have your dedicated Advocated contacting you to support your health journey. We’re just a phone call away!

Access Patient Advocacy is our provider for Patient Advocacy for Well Genie members.

A Patient Advocate can provide assistance with:

· Finding doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers which can save Members considerable time and money

· Negotiating lower prices or payment schedules on hospital, doctor and other medical bills

· Locating hard to reach specialists, critical illness providers and medical institutions

· Solving billing and related administrative issues

· Identifying specialist physicians and medical institutions

· Coordination of medical record transfers

· Accessing community resources

· And much more!

Go to the sign in page associated with your Well Genie account with your Single Sign On (SSO) and then select to either “CHECK ELIGIBILTY” or “FORGOT PASSWORD”. Follow the prompts from there and then start receiving the high quality care you deserve.

Please reach out to support@well-genie.com and request that they send your welcome email again.  Be sure to include your first and last name, along with the first and last name of the primary member.  After your information has been verified, they will resend your welcome email.  

You can find your digital membership card in the Member Portal. Instructions for registering on the Member Portal were provided in your welcome email. If you haven’t received that email or need it resent, please reach out to support@well-genie.com. When you receive your first text message welcoming you to our pharmacy, simply reply with “sign me up for re-fills” to get started OR call customer service at: 800-713-1230 and request auto text reminders.
